Sybel Galván Gómez
Permanent Representative of Mexico to the OECD. Ms Galván holds a BA in Economics, a diploma in Advance Econometrics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She started her professional career in 1993 as advisor to the Vice Minister of Public Revenue at the Ministry of Finance, where she was involved in the project of the Mexican Central Bank Autonomy and in customs surveillance.From 1994 to 2002, she held different positions at Banco de México, the Mexican Central Bank, among them Head of the Department on Financial Credits Markets Survey. Richard Bruton
Minister of Communications, Climate Action and Environment. Richard Bruton was appointed as Ireland’s Minister of Communications, Climate Action and Environment in October 2018. His previous ministerial positions include Education and Skills, and Enterprise and Employment. He is a research economist by profession. Mr Bruton will chair the Commission's ongoing work.

Brian Motherway
Head of Energy Efficiency and Inclusive Transitions Office. Brian Motherway is Head of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Inclusive Transitions at the IEA. He leads the Agency’s analytical and outreach programmes on energy efficiency worldwide, including a global programme of capacity building and engagement. He also oversees the Agency’s work on people-centred transitions, focusing on the social dimensions of energy policies, such as skills, social inclusion and energy affordability. Before joining the IEA, Brian was Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. He holds degrees in sociology and in engineering.
