South America expert workshop on bioenergy: 27-28 November 2014, Sao Paulo, Brazil - How2Guide for Bioenergy

Background

The event was jointly organised by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in the framework of the International Low-Carbon Energy Technology Platform, by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and by the Ministry for Mines and Energy of Brazil (MME). The workshop was organized with the support of the Sugarcane Technology Center (CTC), the Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA), Raizen and the University of Sao Paulo (ESALQ).  

This workshop focused on Brazil and the Southern American region and in particular on the use of biomass resources and biofuels.
