This high-level dialogue, hosted by Canada, will delve into key issues at the heart of building a prosperous and inclusive new energy economy. The first segment will discuss clean energy employment opportunities and the need for greater skills training, highlighting their potential to promote social inclusion and economic opportunities. The second segment will explore the positive social impacts of clean energy policies that are predicated on fairness for all. Both segments will examine how to ensure that marginalised groups, such as women and Indigenous communities, are meaningfully included in clean energy transitions.
