32nd IEA Energy Statistics Training

The 32nd IEA Energy Statistics Training will take place in a virtual format on 26-29 October 2026.

This free course offers training in the internationally recognised IEA methodology and tools for collecting and organising national-level energy data by different fuels and sectors of the economy. It focusses on creating complete and accurate energy balances through the use of consistent definitions and units, in order to inform national energy policy and enable consistent international reporting.

The course is divided into 9 modules with a strong focus on exercises.

The registration to the training is by invitation only and the course is aimed at statisticians and analysts in central government and government agencies, as well as energy companies, regulatory bodies, fuel suppliers, utilities and trade associations producing energy statistics data.
