For oil, “other” includes emissions from process energy, crude oil transport, refining and transport of oil products. For natural gas, “other” includes emissions from process energy, vented CO2 and transport via pipelines and as liquefied natural gas. One tonne of methane is considered to be equivalent to 30 tonnes of CO2 based on the 100‐year global warming potential (IPCC, 2021).
