Includes only estimated CH₄ and N₂O emissions from biofuels. Average 12-month (Feb 2024-Feb 2025) grid electricity emissions 416 kgCO₂eq/MWh. The dark blue area represents CO₂ emissions originating from biomass use that are accounted for under land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF). CH₄ and NOx emissions from combustion are accounted for when calculating the CO₂eq values.
