For those that need a clear view of short term oil market fundamentals, MODS brings together a unique monthly set of supply, demand, trade and field production data, in many cases by country. Designed for monitoring market developments, it offers consistent historical time series for analysis, forecasting and cross country comparison, alongside 6–18 month forecast data.

The IEA’s flagship World Energy Outlook combines the latest energy data with scenario-based analysis of possible energy futures and their implications for security, access and emissions. For users who want to work directly with the numbers behind the analysis, the WEO datasets provide structured, transparent inputs for benchmarking, forecasting, modelling and comparison across scenarios.

Annual and Upstream Emissions Factors

Built for those who need reliable and trustworthy data on emissions intensity for inventories and reporting. The Annual database provides countrylevel GHG emission factors for electricity and heat generation, including adjustment factors related to trade, transport, and transmission and distribution losses. The Upstream database complements this with country- and year-specific estimates of the life-cycle footprint of electricity generation. Together, they support consistent emissions reporting across scopes and help ensure comparability across countries and years.
