"Clever fueren" scheme - extended financial aid for EV

The Governing Council adopted a draft Grand-Ducal regulation extending the ‘Clever fueren’ financial aid scheme until March 31, 2022, while providing for a more targeted allocation of bonuses. Towards zero CO2 emissions mobility and active mobility, the regime will continue to promote pure electric motor vehicles, with hydrogen fuel cells and so-called plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as bicycles and pedal-assisted cycles. The financial assistance of 8,000 euros, introduced under the "Neistart Lëtzebuerg" program, will be maintained for 100% electric cars whose electric energy consumption does not exceed 18 kWh / 100 km. Electric vehicle public transport trials

Driverless electric shuttles will be used at Adelaide Airport in a trial for moving passengers between the main terminal and the long-term car park.

The South Australian Government said it would be one of three driverless car technology trials backed by its $10 million future mobility lab fund.

Two other grants will let Flinders University test out public transport shuttles and cargo deliveries at its Tonsley campus in Adelaide's south.

                UNPLUGGED project

UNPLUGGED project aims to investigate how the use of inductive charging of Electric Vehicles (EV) in urban environments improves the convenience and sustainability of car-based mobility. In particular, it will be investigated how smart inductive charging infrastructure can facilitate full EV integration in the urban road systems while improving customer acceptance and perceived practicality. UNPLUGGED will achieve these goals by examining in detail the technical feasibility, practical issues, interoperability, user perception and socio-economic impacts of inductive charging. As one special variant, inductive en-route charging will be investigated thoroughly.

                Information website on saving energy

The Austrian topprodukte.at website, fostered by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, presents comprehensive guides, tools, and information on saving energy at home.
It enables Austrians to compare options and products based on energy efficiency. It offers both citizens and businesses more transparency thanks to a large range of information and explanations on:
                - domestic appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and extractor hoods),
                - TV and IT,
                - Mobility (cars, e-scooters…)
                - Lighting,

                Defining Zero-emission energy

                …cleaner transportation in the country.

Hydrogen and electric energy for mobility have been categorized as "zero-emission energy", while natural gas, LPG, gasoline, ethanol and their mixtures with a maximum sulphur content of 50 ppm, diesel, and biodiesel and its mixtures with a maximum sulphur content of 50 ppm were cathegorized as "low emissions".

Nota: Currently, mobile sources contribute to 80% of atmospheric particles emissions, and the remaining 20% ??is attributed to stationary sources.

The second resolution allows voluntary superior biodiesel blends for their use exclusively in motor vehicles or land mobile sources to contribute to sustainable mobility. In 2020…
