2022 - 2033 National Transport Plan - Water transport
With a target to halve the emissions from the transport sector by 2030, compared to 2005 levels, the government of Norway announced a National Transport Plan for 2022-2033. As part of the Plan, and in order to develop more sustainable water transport, the government decided to allocate NOK 33 billion over the next 12 years to facilitate the development of a competitive, efficient, safe and climate friendly maritime transport, with efficient ports and transport corridors.
