Basic energy statistics for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates The World Energy Statistics online data service contains key energy statistics for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates. Data are provided in original units for the different types of coal, oil, natural gas, renewables and waste, as well as for electricity and heat. In general, data are available from 1971 (1960 for OECD countries) up to 2023 for all countries. For IEA member, accession, association and other selected countries, data are available up to 2024. Mary Burce Warlick
Deputy Executive Director. Mary Burce Warlick is the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). A retired career diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Ms. Warlick has held a variety of senior leadership positions at the U.S. Department of State, National Security Council and Department of Defense, serving in Washington and abroad. From 2014-2017 she served as the State Department’s Principal Deputy and Acting Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs and represented the U.S. on the IEA Governing Board Ms. Warlick holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy.

Ronja is Coordinator for Climate and Labour at the PECO Institute, a specialized institute within IG BAU - the German Trade Union for Construction Workers affiliated to Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI) focusing on sustainability in construction and forestry, occupational health and safety, climate change, and worker relations. Her expertise lies in sustainable construction methods, materials, and their implications for the workforce. Prior to her current role, Ronja worked as a lobbyist for Volkswagen and Friends of the Earth Bavaria, bridging industry insights with environmental advocacy. She initially trained as a laboratory assistant in chemistry before pursuing academic studies in International Relations.
