Grant for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen
A total of €640 million has been allocated from the National Recovery Fund to support the development of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen production capacity, hydrogen refueling stations (HRS), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). The funding targets projects with a minimum capacity of 20 MW, with preference given to those exceeding 70 MW. The maximum subsidy available is €2,000 per kilowatt for production, with a cap of €320 million per project. The tender was launched on December 20, 2024, and remained open until February 2025, with selected projects expected to be announced by June 2025.

Government funding for the next generation hydrogen fuel service station
The government is funding the construction of Australia’s first public New Energies Service Station in Victoria to support the heavy hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. The government is providing AUD 22.8 million for Viva Energy through the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to build the hydrogen cell refuelling station. The service station will also have electric vehicle battery recharging and traditional diesel refuelling infrastructure.

Hydrogen Economy Roadmap 2040
In January 2019, Korea announced its Hydrogen Economy Roadmap. The Roadmap outlines goal of producing 6.2 million fuel cell electric vehicles and rolling out at least 1200 refilling stations by 2040. Additionally, the plan aims to roll out on the street at least 35 hydrogen buses in 2019 ramping this number up to 2000 by 2022 and 41000 by 2040. Go Ultra Low partnership between government and OEMs

My EV programme
“My EV" programme was implemented in the years 2021-2025 with the aim of supporting individuals, companies and local government units in purchasing electric vehicles.
