National RD&D Strategies for Renewable Energy Technologies
The Danish Energy Authority, in collaboration with the two main utilities (Public Service Obligation ? funded) has elaborated RD&D strategies for fuel cells, biomass, wind energy and photovoltaics. Strategies for bio-fuels, wave energy, hydrogen and the interplay of different renewable energy sources in integrated systems are planned to be developed.

Extending Tax Incentives for Renewable and Alternative Energy
Budget 2003 broadens eligibility for capital cost allowances in Class 43.1 to include certain stationary fuel cell systems, equipment acquired for electricity generation using bio-oil (created from biomass found in forestry and plant residues), and certain types of equipment used in greenhouse operations, such as ground source heat pumps. The Government will continue to review the list of eligible investments under Class 43.1 to ensure appropriate tax treatment for renewable energy and energy conservation investments. Estonia 2035 : development plans and planning
Estonia laid out an ambition plan to foster its RDD sector to better promote its strategic goals, including tackling climate change.
The goal is to increase the innovation and RDD capabilities of Estonian entrepreneurship , which contributes to productivity and international competitiveness, including attaining climate neutrality, optimising air-quality, securing energy supplies, increasing the share of renewable energy, particularly offshore wind.
