Energy efficiency regulation in buildings (revision 2025)
The new regulation removes the obligation to install central heating systems in buildings in defined hot climate regions (some districts in Adana, Antalya, Mersin, Muğla and Hatay). Instead, the regulation now promotes the installation of more efficient individual heating systems. Additionally, the modification includes new provisions on maintenance of energy efficiency in new building and energy performance.
