The Energy Saving Council
…addition, the council should assist in achieving an optimal coordination of energy saving activities - in particular in terms of the coordination between the Danish Energy Saving Trust, the grid and distribution companies as well as the Danish Energy Agency. The council consists of members from different organisations related to the work on energy saving actitivies. The members are appointed by the Minister. This group takes over from local energy conservation committees as well as the Coordination Committee which were enacted through the Act on the Promotion of Savings in Energy Consumption; and the Action Plan for Renewed Energy Conservation respectively.

Energy Company Obligation
…energy companies must concentrate efforts on hard-to-treat homes and measures that cannot be fully funded through the Green Deal. Solid wall insulation and hard-to-treat cavity wall insulation are the primary areas for focus under this target. Other insulation measures and connections to district heating systems are also eligible if they are promoted as part of a package that includes solid wall insulation or hard-to-treat cavity wall insulation.2. Community ObligationUnder the Carbon Saving Community Obligation, energy companies must focus on the provision of insulation measures and connections to domestic district heating systems supplying areas…

Improving the energy efficiency of single family homes. Restore the house (H002)
The aim of the investment is to complete the renovation of at least 25,164 single-family homes with an emphasis on reducing energy poverty, achieving primary energy savings of at least 30% on average. In addition to traditional energy saving measures such as thermal insulation and window replacement, the mechanism allows replacement of inefficient heat sources with high-efficiency equipment or installation of renewable energy sources. Where possible, measures to increase climate resilience are applied (green roofs, rainwater harvesting). Support covers up to 60% of eligible costs. Coordinated by the National Implementation and Coordination Authority (NIKA); implemented by the…

Resolution No. 103: State Program "Energy Saving" for 2021-2025
The State Programme "Energy Saving" (2021-2025) aims to reduce hydrocarbon dependence, enhance energy efficiency, and strengthen national energy security. Primary goals include restraining gross energy consumption and maximizing the use of domestic resources and renewables (RES). Key 2026 targets involve reducing GDP energy intensity by at least 7% compared to 2020 and achieving savings of 2.5-3.0 million tons of equivalent fuel. Additionally, the programme seeks to maintain a local energy share of at least 16.1% and increase the RES share to 7-8%. Implementation focuses on industrial modernization and expanding renewable infrastructure.
