                Indicative Energy Plan 2011-2020

The Sustainable Economy Act requires the Government to produce an energy planning document, which has been passed on 11th November 2011 by the Cabinet of Ministers. It includes, among other aspects, forecasts on the behaviour of future energy demand and the necessary resources to satisfy it; the evolution of market conditions to guarantee energy supply and the criteria for environmental protection. This forecast exercise lays the foundations for the subsequent binding energy planning.

White Paper on Energy Development "Energy in China's New Era"

The White Paper presents key developments of China's energy system since 2012, and sets out main policies and measures for promoting major energy system transitions in response to challenges including climate change, environmental risks and energy resource constraints, and in support of China's goals to reach peak emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. The White Paper lays out that: Energy consumption will be subject to enhanced controls that “integrate energy conservation throughout the entire system”, as well as continuing with adjustments to the industrial structure, improved urbanisation, and “the formation of a green and low…

…Energy Decree, the action programme Energy2000 aimed to stabilise total fossil fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at 1990 levels by 2000. Increased use of renewable energy featured prominently in different parts of the Energy2000 programme. The federal Energy2000 programme rested on three main pillars: voluntary measures to promote energy efficiency and renewables, a favourable legal environment and dialogue between parties. The implementation of Energy2000 rested with ?marketing departments,? one of which dealt specifically with renewable energy. The work of this department concentrated in three areas with associated Action Networks: Swissolar is a grouping of five utility and private solar energy…

It is a document of orientation on the general energy policy. This document comes as a replacement from the Letter of Development policy of the Sector of the Energy dating 2000 and which did not put a particular accent on the new energies as the bioenergy and the biofuels. The document also comes as a supplement to the current institutional frame(executive) which needs to be redefined.
