2021-27 Strategic Plan - Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings
According to the Estonian Strategic Plan, €3.37 billion in cohesion policy grants will be allocated for the period 2021-2027. One of the objectives is to improve the energy efficency of residential buildings.
Public investments aimed at improving the housing's energy efficiency standards will include introducing new technologies, developing targeted research and development in the area, raising awareness of materials' effects, demolishing decommissioned buildings, introducing specific support and guarantee measures and establishing housing investment fund.
47 million EUR have been secured at this stage for this measure.
