Fuel of the future programme
The program aims to propose measures to improve the use of low carbon fuels to decarbonize the transport sector. It creates a technical committee to: - Propose integration measures of RENOVABIO, Biodiesel Policy, PROCONVE, ROTA 2030, PBEV, CONPET and other related policy initiatives- Propose measure to improve fuel quality to reduce carbon intensity- Propose a LCA methodology for carbon emissions of several transportation modes- Propose studies for PROCONVE- Propose actions to allow consumers to properly choose their fuels based on the fuel life cycle- Propose studies to expand sustainable and low carbon fuels

Carbon contracts for difference for industry: Round 2 (Förderprogramm Klimaschutzverträge)
Up to EUR 5 billion available in the second auction round of CCfD, giving 15-year support for fuel switching of industrial assets (i.e. hydrogen is one of several eligible technologies), with a focus on CCU/S technologies. 130 projects submitted during pre-notification process.

Low-cost financing together with the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) for hydrogen hubs
Up to USD 250 million in funding as part of the CIF's Industry Decarbonization investment program (this program is part of the Clean Technology Fund which has a budget of USD 8.6 billion). Funding of up to 50% project costs. Any low-carbon hydrogen route is allowed (including biomass). 70 project proposals were received with capacities ranging from 1 to 350 ktpa. Criteria included project size and location, targeted use, offtake, and number of partners involved, among others. 12 proposals were selected.
