Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2060
The strategy calls for the following measures for the industry sector: 1) use of alternative construction materials instead of cement, steel, aluminum that use lower or zero GHG emissions; 2) increased volumes of waste treatment (including scrap) to reduce the need in processing of raw materials as the main source of emissions in this sector; and 3) implementation of new manufacturing technologies with zero GHG emissions coupled with carbon capture and storage.

EU Emissions Trading System Phase 3 (2013-2020)
…period (2013-2020) on 1 January 2013. The EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) is a cap-and-trade system in force in all EU countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The system limits emissions from more than 11 000 energy-intensive power stations and industrial plants, as well as airlines operating between these countries. The system covers nearly half of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions. Phase 3 covers 2013-2020, while Phase 4 will cover 2021-2030, introducing a variety of new funding mechanisms. Clean Energy Initiative
The Australian Government's AUD 5.1 billion Clean Energy Initiative (CEI) is designed to support clean energy generation and new technologies to reduce carbon emissions and stimulate the clean energy sector.
