                Urban and Construction Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan

                Article 57 of the Urban and Construction Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated 2012, underlines that construction premises should compile with energy saving and energy efficiency requirements.
                Cabinet of Ministers Decision on “Rules on increasing energy efficiency in construction premises and saving energy resources” dated 11 March 2014, N0: 73. These rules underlines general requirements for project documents of construction premises and energy saving measures.

                Nauru Energy Road Map (NERM) 2018 - 2020

                The NERM provides the implementation plan for Activities to facilitate Nauru's energy sector development agenda. The main energy efficiency target of the NERM 2014 - 2020 that has not been revised in the NERM 2018 - 2020 is, by 2020, to have:30% improvement in energy efficiency in the residential, commercial and government sectors.

                Promotion of nearly zero energy buildings

                The issuance of the Requirements and the Technical Characteristics of Nearly Zero Enrgy Buildings Minesterial Order of 2014 provides in a legally binding document a standard of higher energy efficiency that will be mandatory for all new buildings after 2020, but can also voluntarily implemented now in buildings that are constructed or renovated.
                One of the requirements is that at least 25% of total primary energy consumption must be covered by Renewable Energy Sources.

                GOST R 51388-99 Energy conservation. Informing of consumers about energy efficiency of equipment in the residential sector. General requirements

                The purpose of this standard is to establish general requirements and rules for providing information on energy consumption during the operation of certain types of products:

                - household electrical appliances and devices, incl. lighting equipment;

                - gas equipment for household and municipal purposes;

                - thermal insulation products and materials;

                - vehicles for individual use.

                 

                The objective of this standard is informing consumers about the energy efficiency of energy-consuming products for household and municipal purposes is carried out in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation " On Energy Saving ", " On Protection of Consumer Rights ", "On Licensing of Certain Types of Activities" .
