NOM-031-ENER-2019: Energy efficiency of LED luminaires for roads and public outdoor areas. Specifications and testing methods
The standard establishes the specifications and test methods for efficient use of energy in lighting with light-emitting diodes (LEDs), intended for lighting roads and public outdoor areas. The main features of the update include: - the use of self-generating sources in alternating and/or direct current, with a nominal voltage up to 480V in alternating current and up to 100V in direct current - increasesing the energy efficiency values (lumens per watt) - increasesing the number of samples to be evaluated and hours that a lighting point must be tested for (maintained luminous flux test) to obtain the initial…

NOM-013-ENER-1996: Energy efficient lighting systems on roads and building exteriors
This standard establishes the levels of energy efficiency in terms of maximum values of electrical power density of lighting (DPEA) that must meet new installations, as well as extensions, of public lighting (roads and open parking lotes) or outdoor lighting regardless of its size and connected load. See the attachment for the maximum DPEA levels.

NOM-013-ENER-2004: Energy efficient lighting systems on roads and public outdoor areas
This standard establishes the levels of energy efficiency in terms of maximum values of electrical power density of lighting (DPEA) that must comply new systems, as well as extensions, of public lighting, public parking lots (open, closed or roofed), or outdoor lighting regardless of its size and connected load. See the attachment for the maximum DPEA levels.
The standard NOM-013-ENER-2004 supersedes the standard NOM-013-ENER-1996. The 2004 version keeps the maximum DPEA levels but incraeses the lumens per watt (efficacy) for some exterior lighting systems (from 40 lm/w to 70 lm/w). -

NOM-013-ENER-2013: Energy efficient lighting systems on roads
This standard establishes the levels of energy efficiency in terms of maximum values of electrical power density of lighting (DPEA), as well as the average illuminance that must comply new systems, as well as extensions, of public lighting and public parking lots (open, closed or roofed) regardless of its size and connected load. See the attachment for the maximum DPEA levels.
The standard NOM-013-ENER-2013 supersedes the standard NOM-013-ENER-2004. The 2013 version specifies the maximum DPEA levels by type of pavement, extents DPEAs for parking lots and adds the average illuminance levels. -

5th Energy Technology Development Plan and Energy Technology Roadmap
The 5th Energy Technology Development Plan is Korea’s medium- to long-term R&D strategy for achieving carbon neutrality and energy security through a carbon-free energy technology ecosystem. It sets targets to raise energy technology self-reliance to 90% and the commercialisation rate to 50%, with expected economic spillover effects of KRW 59 trillion. The plan is structured around four strategies and 14 tasks covering the full energy value chain from supply to delivery systems and demand. Priority technologies include next-generation nuclear, SMRs, tandem solar cells, renewables, clean hydrogen, HVDC, AC/DC distribution, ESS, heat pumps…

NOM-031-ENER-2012: Energy efficiency of light emitting diodes (LED) for roads and public outdoor areas. Specifications and testing methods
This standard establishes the minimum efficiency limits in lumen per watt for LED lamps for roads and public outdoor areas. The luminaires with LEDs for street lighting must have a minimum luminous efficacy value of 70 lm/W. See the attachment for the minimum efficiency levels for outdoor lighting.
For the Color Rendering Index (CRI): (a) the luminaires intended for street lighting must have a minimum CRI value of 67. (b) the luminaires intended for outdoor lighting must have an minimum CRI value of 70. Additionally, luminaires with LEDs must have a power factor of at least 0.90. The… -
