2022 Clean Air Plus programme extension
The Polish government implemented mid-July 2022 a new instalment of its Clean Air Plus program will start. Households engaged in energy-efficient home retrofits or upgrading their heating systems to higher energy standards (notably through the installation of heat pumps) are entitled to a subsidy capped at PLN 79 000, that may cover up to 90% of the project costs. The scheme notably aims at lessening the impacts of the global energy crisis on domestic consumers.

Energy payment to low-income households
In March 2022, the Danish government decided to provide one-time energy subsidies for households that both have a low income and one of the heat sources that has been particularly affected by extraordinary price increases in the heating season 2021-2022.
