                Chile-Cuba Economic Agreement

                …entered into force on 2008, fully or partially eliminating import tariff for most energy products and technologies, including: Alumina, scrap metal, solar PV modules, solar cells;Battery packs, aluminium, battery cells;Heat pumps agglomerated and reduced iron;Ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, solar wafers;Polysilicon, crude steel;Anodes and cathodes;Electrolysers, electric vehicles, ICE cars;Rules of origin delineated in the Agreement include provisions preventing goods only undergoing minimal transformations in one of the signatory countries or incorporating materials of external origin valued above 15% of the transaction value of the good to benefit from the tariff treatment established by the Agreement.

                Chile-Türkiye Free Trade Agreement

                The Free Trade Agreement between Chile and Türkiye entered into force on March 1, 2011.The Agreement has been undergoing a modernization process since 2016, which aims at expanding its preferential terms beyond the trade in goods. The Agreement provides for the elimination of border tariff for the following products, among others : agglomerated and reduced iron;alumina, scrap metal, ammonia, crude steel, aluminium; solar PV modules, solar cells, solar wafers, polysilicon; battery packs, battery cells; anodes, cathodes and electrolysers; heat pumps; electric vehicles and ICE cars.Rules of origin apply.                 Import Policies and Conditions

                In 2023 and 2024, the Indonesian government updated its Import Policies and Regulations.This policy sets administrative requirements for importers, such as business legality, taxpayer status, and import permits. As known, Indonesia imports various supplies such as oil and other materials. This regulation aims to facilitate the import process from selling countries to Indonesia.The following new exemptions apply to import prohibitions, notably:non hazardous or toxic metal scrapsgoods imported into a Special Economic Zoneused non-lithium batteriesImport licensing applies. For steel and iron products, import permits are notably valid for a year.
