                On 3 February 2024, Thailand and Sri Lanka signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) aimed at expanding market opportunities. The negotiations covered key areas such as Trade in Goods, Investment, Customs Procedures, and Intellectual Property Rights. Both nations identified renewable energy as a significant investment opportunity.
