"Update your heating" programme
The Government of Chile is introducing a special discounted electricity tariff to support 87 000 homes in south-central Chile to switch from firewood combustion for heating to electrical heating. This initiative will help to reduce premature deaths related to PM2.5 and air pollution from wood-fired heating in the region.

Germany's Special Climate and Transformation Fund - Transformation of heating networks
The German government is implementing a support scheme for the construction of green district heating networks. Direct grants are provided to new and existing district heating network operators and operators to finance the construction and the upgrade of district heating networks. In order to be eligible for public support, the systems need to operate on at least 75% renewable energy and/or waste heat.
