Nation-wide scheme to support district heating based on renewable energy
The Czech government launched a support scheme for renewable district heating. The scheme provides operating aid for the construction of generation units producing heat energy from biomass and aims to support the installation of 345 MWt renewable heat generation capacity over three years. The aid is provided in the form of a green heat bonus - a subsidy for each gigajoule of heat supplied to the heat distribution system.
