Development plan of electrical energy transport network 2015-2020
On the 16th of October 2015, the Council of Ministers approved the Energy Plan: Development plan for the electrical energy transport network 2015-2020.
The primary objective of the plan is to guarantee the security of the electricity supply, introducing environmental and economic efficiency criteria. The document includes those infrastructures necessary to guarantee the security of supply in the 2015-2020 planning horizon.
Integrating renewable energies into the grid in order to help achieve targets in this area by 2020 was one of the factors taking into account at the time of defining the plan. -
