Renewable Heat Act - coal and oil heating systems phase-out
The Renewable Heat Act sets milestones for the building sector decarbonisation, including a progressive mandatory decommissioning of coal and oil heating systems.This decommissioning is set to start in 2025, and all coal and oil heating systems are to be shut down by 2035.

NEW (first release: June 2025) - Monthly, quarterly, and annual demand data for seven products in individual OECD and Non-OECD countries with aggregates for selected regions. Monthly, quarterly, and annual demand data for seven products in individual OECD and Non-OECD countries with aggregates for selected regions. The dataset starts in January 2005. Data are in thousand barrels per day and include 6-18 month forecasts.This new dataset combines OECD and non-OECD demand data into a single, harmonised dataset including more granularity for non-OECD countries (demand available by product and by month).

The Energy Assistance Scheme is available to households who are most vulnerable to fuel poverty.
