                Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the States of the European Free Trade Association

                …energy sector products including: Electric motors, turbines and generators; Mechanical equipment including pumps, appliances, and other advanced machinery; Electric accumulators, transformers, capacitors, batteries; Motor vehicles; Mineral ore, slag and ash; Mineral fuels, oils and other products; Metals and their articles e.g. iron and steel; Semiconductors devices and photovoltaic cells; Rule of origins apply to qualify for the preferential tariff treatment : products need to be wholly obtained on the territory of at least one of the Parties, or having undergone a significant production, or incorporate non-originating materials valued  at less than 50-60 % of the ex-works final price.

In order to qualify for preferential tariff treatment, good must be wholly obtained or produced in one of the Parties' territory, or should not incorporate non-originating materials valued at more than 40-50% of the ex-works price of the final product.

                Chile - Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership

                The Chile-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership (CEPA) entered into force on August 10, 2019. It provides for the reduction or elimination of border tariffs and non-tariff measures , including for the following energy sector products:-minerals products and metals, notably steel, iron, copper, nickel, aluminium, zinc, -fertilisers-nuclears reactors and related parts-electrical equipmentsRules of origins determining preferential tariff treatment require goods to be wholly obtained or produced in the territory of each country, exclusively from originating materials or from non-originating materials provided under a change in tariff classification or a specific manufacturing or processing operation.
