Temporary decrease in sales tax rate on gas deliveries via natural gas network
In order to shield domestic consumers from the effects of the global energy crisis, the German government enacted a temporary reduction of the VAT rate on gas supplies from 19% to 7% (from 1 October 2022 until 31 March 2024), as well as a tax exemption on special payments of up to EUR 3,000 that employers provide employees to offset the effects of inflation.

Reduction of wholesale gas price
The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a decision on reduction of the wholesale price of natural gas by 12.53 percent. Following this decision natural gas distributors can sell natural gas at 0.866 KM/Sm³ as of 1 April 2023.

The Green Electricity Market (GEM) was a voluntary, industry- owned market trading in "green electricity rights", set up with government funding under the Renewable Energy Commercialisation Program (RECP). GEM went live in July 2001 and provided an Internet-based portfolio management and trading platform for the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Temporary reduction in the excise duties on petrol, diesel and marked gas oil
Excise duty reduced 20 cent/litre of petrol and 15 cent/litre of diesel, with a 3.4 cent reduction on marked gas oil (MGO), and remain in place with effect from 10 March 2022. The current reductions are VAT inclusive amounts of 4 cent, 3 cent and 1.7 cent per litre for petrol, diesel and MGO respectively and are due to be restored on 1 August 2024.
