DRC - EU Strategic Partnership on sustainable raw materials value chains

On the same day, the European Union announced a similar MoU with Zambia and a separate MoU with the Angola, DRC, the United States, Zambia, the African Development Bank, and the Africa Finance Corporation to support development of the "Lobito Corridor," which would connect the mining regions in Southern DRC and Northern Zambia to ports in Angola to facilitate export of raw materials.

Package for the future – Hydrogen Strategy
…order to reduce the use of fossil fuels in industrial processes e.g. green steel. - Germany will also promote the direct use of green hydrogen in aircraft engines, and will encourage the development of concepts for hybrid electric aircrafts (combination of hydrogen / fuel cells / battery technology). Energy Academy in Germany and Jordan

The academy brings together expertise from two of Jordan’s largest universities, professional skills training organisations in Germany, as well as representatives from the Jordanian and German renewable energy industries.
