Green fund to investment in clean technologies
In 2022, the government launched a green fund to accelerate Denmark's green transition and in the phasing out of fossil fuels. Overall, DKK 53.5 billion is set aside for investments, with DKK 1.5 billion pledged for 2024 and DKK 3.5 billion annually from 2024-2040.To be eligible, projects need to be related to energy and supply, food and agriculture, buildings and infrastructure, materials and resources or transport and mobility.

The increased ease and predictability of public transport has helped increase ridership. Under PT JakLingko Indonesia, this comprehensive integration process increased the number of Transjakarta users from around 397 000 per day in December 2017 to just over 1 million per day in February 2020. It also allows the provincial government to collect data on 2.5 million passengers in the Greater Jakarta Area (Jabodetabek) and perform analytics on urban mobility to support continued increases in ridership.

Brunel hydrogen course to retrain oil and gas workers

The European Union will invest EUR 250 billion (of which EUR 4.5 billion is planned in the Netherlands) into hydrogen production, which will generate strong demand for hydrogen specialists in coming years. European Master in Renewable Energy
…technologies; in the second semester, they choose a technology for specialisation at a separate university; and during the final session, students undertake a six-month practical training or research project. Universities offer different specialisations, such as in photovoltaics, wind energy, grid integration, solar thermal and associated renewable storage, ocean energy, and sustainable fuel systems for mobility. Each university can admit around 8 to 15 students. For the academic year 2019-2020, 59 students participated in the programme. For Academic Year 2022-2023, the course fee is EUR 8 000 for EU students and EUR 13 000 for non-EU students.

Panama’s Energy Transition Council
In November 2020, the government of Panama established an Energy Transition Council to provide advice, consultation and accountability for the government’s enactment of the Strategic Guidelines of Panama´s Energy Transition Agenda. Among its thematic areas of focus are universal energy access, energy efficiency, electric mobility, distributed generation, grid modernisation and the hydrocarbons sector. Spain’s aid for small municipalities
…Spain’s depopulation trend is concentrated in rural areas. The scheme therefore provides subsidies to aid small municipalities (with less than 5 000 inhabitants) improve energy efficiency and promote sustainable mobility in rural areas. A total of 6 974 municipalities meet the eligibility criteria, accounting for 14% of Spain’s total population.
