Funds for green transition of transport 2021
In April and June 2021, the Danish government signed several agreements in order to provide funds towards the transport sector. It includes: - 265 million DKK for co-financing publicly accessible charging infrastructure for electric vehicles - 72 million DKK for co-financing renewable refueling infrastructure for heavy duty vehicles - 50 million DKK for co-financing the transition to zero- and low emission heavy duty vehicles - 3 million DKK for analyzing the use of electric roads (pantographs) for heavy duty vehicles on the Øresund-Fermern belt tunnel. - 233 million DKK for co-financiering the green transition of ferries.

Target to reduce oil and gas sector methane emissions by 75%
Ahead of COP26 in November 2021, Canada announced that it would join the Global Methane Pledge and that it would commit to develop a methane reduction plan that would reduce oil and gas methane emissions by at least 75% below 2012 levels by 2030. The announcement referenced the IEA's reports on methane, including the Net Zero by 2050 Roadmap. Carbon Capture, Use and Storage Development Fund
The Australian Government’s AUD 50 million Carbon Capture, Use and Storage Development Fund provides businesses with grants of up $25 million for pilot projects or pre-commercial projects aimed at reducing emissions. Carbon capture and storage technologies are one of five priority areas for investment under the Government’s Technology Investment Roadmap. The Fund will provide targeted support to an array of carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS) opportunities, including carbon use/recycling, negative emissions/direct air capture, and carbon capture and storage.
