Building Energy Costs Certificate
The Law on Air and Rational Energy Use dated 30 December 1996 required a standardised estimate regarding annual energy costs of housing units or commercial units for sale or lease. A decree should specify the rules on computing the estimate. The decree for new buildings was issued in April 2000. A decree for existing buildings will be also be issued.

Support for solar heating investments
In 2009, the Swedish government introduced an investment support scheme for solar heating for all applicants, from private individuals to companies. The investment support corresponded to SEK 2.50/kWh/year of the production of the solar panels, calculated in terms of heat exchange. The investment subsidy was limited to a maximum of SEK 7 500 per apartment building, and a maximum of SEK 3 million per project. Funding was disbursed through provincial governments. Solar thermal collectors had to meet certain quality standards to qualify for the support, and had to be installed by a professional. The scheme ended in…

10 CFR § 431.97 - Energy efficiency standards
The code (10 CFR § 431.97 - Energy efficiency standards) defines energy efficiency ratio and combined energy efficiency ratio of commercial air conditioners and heat pumps.
Hereafter the Minimum Cooling Efficiency Standards for Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment will be enumerated, this foes not include single package vertical air conditioners and single package vertical heat pumps, packaged terminal air conditioners and packaged terminal heat pumps, computer room air conditioners, variable refrigerant flow multi-split air conditioners and heat pumps, and double-duct air-cooled commercial package air conditioning and heating equipment. These are enumerated in other policy entries.

Funding programme for "Heat Network systems 4.0"
Since July 2017, the Federal Government has been funding heat network operators with the funding programme "Model Project Heat Network Systems 4.0" with the aim of either constructing modern low-temperature heat networks with a high proportion of renewable energies and waste heat (at least 50 %; "4th Generation Heat Networks") or transforming their existing heat networks into such modern, low-CO2 networks. The funding programme not only supports individual technologies and components, but the entire heat system. Funding will be provided for the costs of feasibility studies that examine the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the planned 4.0…

Danish Building Regulations BR10
The BR10 is a performance-based code that requires a mandatory energy frame calculation to establish maximum energy demand for residential and non-residential buildings. The code addresses all thermal envelope requirements and energy-using efficiency standards in the calculation, including, heating, cooling, ventilation, hot water, lighting (only non-residential), heat recovery and conversion and distribution losses.

New Zealand Warmer Kiwi Homes
The Warmer Kiwi Homes programme in New Zealand, launched in its current form in 2018, provides grants that cover 80% of the cost of insulation and clean heating for low-income households. New Zealand’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) administers the programme. Qualifying homes must be owner-occupied, built before 2008, and either be situated in an area that is classified as low-income or have one occupant that is a holder of a Community Services Card. EECA maintains a list of approved energy products and a panel of registered energy service providers that deliver the measures and…
