Specifies minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) requirements for gas water heaters intended for use with natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and simulated natural gas (SNG); external storage heaters with a nominal gas consumption of less than 50 MJ/h and storage capacity of over 30 litres internal and external instant gas water heaters with a nominal gas consumption of less than 250 MJ/h and a heat output of less than 13.1 kW (equivalent to a delivery rate of 7.5 L/min raised through 25C)

2022 Clean Air Plus programme extension
The Polish government implemented mid-July 2022 a new instalment of its Clean Air Plus program will start. Households engaged in energy-efficient home retrofits or upgrading their heating systems to higher energy standards (notably through the installation of heat pumps) are entitled to a subsidy capped at PLN 79 000, that may cover up to 90% of the project costs. The scheme notably aims at lessening the impacts of the global energy crisis on domestic consumers.
