Mélanie holds a master's degree in international and European Law (in English) from Tilburg University, in Netherlands, with a focus on environmental law. The Building-level Electricity Access and Demand Model is an open-source model developed through a collaboration between the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
