…The remarkable impact of the CETP’s work during this period was reflected in several notable achievements, including the announcement of a new set of fuel standards for trucks in Indonesia, the Energy Transition Plan in Uganda and the establishment of regulations for the spot electricity market in China. These and other policies announced in 2023 were all closely aligned with IEA recommendations and reinforced the Agency’s status as a trusted advisor to emerging and developing countries.
