Annual data from 2000 covering end-use energy consumption, now featuring end-use carbon emissions for the IEA member countries and beyond.
The data is updated twice a year, at the end of each semesters. Energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates The World Energy Balances online data service contains energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates. The figures are expressed in thousand tonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe) and in terajoules (TJ). Conversion factors used to calculate energy balances and indicators (including GDP, population, industrial production index and ratios calculated with the energy data) are also provided.
