Peter Levi
Head of Technology Supply Chain Unit. Peter Levi first joined the Energy Technology Policy Division of the IEA in 2016 and now leads the sectoral analysis of Industry within the Division. In this role he is focussed on the technologies and policies that can be employed to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from energy-intensive sectors within industry – steel, cement, chemicals, aluminium and paper – as well as cross-cutting themes such as energy security, technology supply chains, innovation, hydrogen, carbon capture and electrification.

Sybel Galván Gómez
Permanent Representative of Mexico to the OECD. Ms Galván holds a BA in Economics, a diploma in Advance Econometrics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She started her professional career in 1993 as advisor to the Vice Minister of Public Revenue at the Ministry of Finance, where she was involved in the project of the Mexican Central Bank Autonomy and in customs surveillance.From 1994 to 2002, she held different positions at Banco de México, the Mexican Central Bank, among them Head of the Department on Financial Credits Markets Survey. Mary Burce Warlick
Deputy Executive Director. Mary Burce Warlick is the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). A retired career diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Ms. Warlick has held a variety of senior leadership positions at the U.S. Department of State, National Security Council and Department of Defense, serving in Washington and abroad. From 2014-2017 she served as the State Department’s Principal Deputy and Acting Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs and represented the U.S. on the IEA Governing Board Ms. Warlick holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy.
