Tim Gould
Chief Energy Economist. Tim Gould was appointed the Agency's Chief Energy Economist in 2021. As Chief Energy Economist, he provides strategic advice on energy economics across a wide range of IEA activities and analysis. Mr Gould is also Head of the Office of the Chief Energy Economist, in which capacity he co-leads the World Energy Outlook, the IEA's flagship publication series, and oversees the Agency's work on investment and finance, including the World Energy Investment report.Mr Gould joined the IEA in 2008, initially as a specialist on Russian and Caspian energy, and in recent years has designed and directed a wide range of IEA analytical outputs, while continuing to contribute also as an author. Prior to joining the IEA, Mr Gould worked on European and Eurasian energy issues in Brussels and has ten years of experience in Eastern Europe, primarily in Ukraine. Katerina Ananiadou
Progamme Specialist. Katerina has been a Progamme Specialist with UNESCO-UNEVOC since March 2011. In this role she is responsible for knowledge management and research activities in the field of TVET and for implementing and promoting cooperation and capacity development activities within the UNEVOC Network. She is also the focal point for UNEVOC's thematic work on youth and skills and coordinator of the Latin American and Caribbean region of the UNEVOC Network.Prior to joining UNESCO Katerina worked for four years as a policy analyst at the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) of the OECD, among others on systemic innovation in VET and the New Millennium Learners project. Before that she was a researcher at the Institute of Education in London, specialising on adult literacy and numeracy and workplace learning. Her academic background is in Psychology and Cognitive Science which she studied at the Universities of Athens (BA), Cardiff (MSc) and Warwick (PhD).

George Kamiya
Former Energy Policy Analyst. George Kamiya leads the IEA’s analysis on the energy and climate impacts of digitalisation and works on modelling and policy aspects of other emerging topics, including critical minerals, cybersecurity, and new mobility services. He contributes to several IEA flagship reports including the World Energy Outlook, World Energy Investment, and Tracking Clean Energy Progress.

Amani Abou-Zeid
Commissioner for Energy and Infrastructure, African Union. Dr Amani Abou-Zeid has been the African Union Commissioner for Infrastructure, Energy, ICT and Tourism since January 2016. The African Union is a continental body consisting of 55 member states. Dr Abou-Zeid previously served in leadership roles at organisations such as the African Development Bank and United Nations Development Programme.

Megan Woods
