Valeria Arroyave Cardozo
Project Manager. Valeria Arroyave Cardozo is a Project Manager at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where she leads the Energy Efficiency for Livelihoods in Africa (EELA) Regional Project. The initiative focuses on transforming markets for energy-efficient appliances and services through enhanced policies, increased investments, and the development of sustainable local value chains.Since joining UNIDO in 2021, she has contributed to global efforts in sustainable cooling, energy efficiency, and the critical minerals supply chain, supporting the broader clean energy transition. Norihiko Saeki
Director for CCUS Policy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. Norihiko Saeki serves as the Director for CCUS Policy, the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI). He is responsible for formulating national strategy for Carbon Capture, Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS) in the Japanese government and currently engaged in drafting CCUS Business Act and CCUS Diplomacy as well. Prior to assuming this duty, Mr. Saeki was the Executive Director at Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Los Angeles office and oversees and coordinates the collaboration program of “J-Bridge”. He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Tokyo, has been a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University SAIS and completed the Mamagement Acceleration Program at the Anderson School of Management UCLA.

Wan Gang
Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Previous Minister of Science and Technology. Widely recognised as “the father of new energy vehicles” in China, Wan Gang served as the Chinese Minister of Science and Technology between 2007 and 2018. As well as his current role as Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, he is also President of the China Association for Science and Technology.
