(California) Senate Bill 1383 (2016) Short-Lived Climate Pollutants

Sets an economy-wide target of 40% reduction in methane emissions from 2013 levels by 2030. 

 

The Bill requires the State Air Resources Board to develop and begin implementing a comprehensive strategy to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants by 2018.
