(Tasmania) Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982

Governs the licensing and permit requirements for petroleum exploration, mining and extraction. It also dictates that in the instance that wells are flared or vented, no royalty is able to be paid on such emissions that were flared or vented in Tasmanian waters. Additionally covers safety concerns.
