Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) on electric motor-led systems

The ministry of Mines and Energy revised in August 2017 its regulation on industrial motors' efficiency, to come into force in August 2019. 

The standard only applies to three-phase induction motors, with minimum standard for electric motors of Level IE3 up to 500 hp.
