Building capacity of private and public actors to create the right market & regulatory conditions and to mobilise investments in clean energy, this includes Project Development Assistance grants such as provided by ELENA (European Local Energy Assistance)
ELENA Facility: In 2017, 32 M€ of grants have been allocated to projects for project development assistance. This EU support is expected to trigger investments of 1 345 M€, energy savings of 1 TWh, GHG reduction fo 316 000 tCO2 eq/y, 374 GWh of yearly RES production, and support more than 12 000 jobs.
