The Climate Leap

Klimatklivet is a support for physical investments that reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. The support goes to various types of measures that provide high climate benefits. Among the newer measures are hydrogen production, electrification of shipping, electrofuels, charging infrastructure, hydrogen refuelling stations, biochar production and measures that create circular flows by increasing the recycling of, for example, plastic, concrete and textiles. Klimatklivet is part of the EU initiative Next Generation EU, which, among other things, will contribute to a more environmentally friendly EU, better adapted to current and future challenges. Since Klimatklivet's start in 2015, Klimatklivet has granted approximately SEK 20 billion in support for over 27,000 measures. The initiative has been extended to 2030
