In June 2017 a Resolution on Further Development of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for 2017-2025 in Uzbekistan. The resolution sets the following renewable energy targets:

Developments of above mentioned capacities will increase Uzbekistan’s share of renewables in the generation from 12.7% in 2016 to 19.7% in 2025. 


Power from renewable energy projects has guaranteed access to the grid with priority of dispatch. A cost of connection to the grid lies on the side of the project developer.
