India-United States Strategic Critical Minerals Cooperation Framework

India and the United States signed a Strategic Critical Minerals Cooperation Framework to strengthen the development of resilient and diversified critical mineral supply chains. The Cooperation Framework aims to deepen bilateral collaboration across the supply chain, including mining, processing, recycling and financing of critical minerals and rare earths. It provides a basis for joint efforts to reduce vulnerabilities arising from concentrated supply sources, strengthen supply chain security, facilitate investment and coordinate international engagement on critical minerals required for advanced manufacturing, emerging technologies and energy applications.
