Provision of Guaranteed Energy Services (GES) - private sector (I008)

Legislative framework for guaranteed energy services established in §§15–19 of Act No. 321/2014 on Energy Efficiency. GES enables complex energy projects using future energy and operating cost savings, which are guaranteed. Unlike GES in the public sector, possibilities for GES in the private sector are wider as they are not constrained by strict Eurostat methodology. GES providers are listed in a register maintained by the Ministry of Economy and SIEA.
