Funding for CO2 storage terminals

In May 2026, Enova launched a new program for CO2 storage terminals. This program provides funding for investments in CO₂ receiving terminals. Its purpose is to reduce barriers to investments in infrastructure that are important for establishing well-functioning carbon management value chains. Receiving terminals will lower barriers in the value chain for small and medium-sized capture operators and contribute to more cost-effective logistics for CO₂ transport.
 The receiving terminals will enable capture operators to deliver their CO₂ by truck, for further aggregation and transport to storage.
