Built Environment Sector Plan

The Built Environment Sector Plan (BESP) is one of 6 sector plans under the Australian Government’s Net Zero Plan, which charts Australia’s pathway to net zero by 2050. The Net Zero Plan outlines five priority areas for action: decarbonising and expanding the electricity network, electrification wherever possible, switching to low–carbon fuels, technology innovation and carbon removals.
